This project consisted of redesigning several 1-2 page sitelets for brands that sold coffee—either in K-cups or bagged—under Green Mountain. My role was to design or co-design 6 of the 7 sites, then to lead front-end development and ensure all HTML, CSS and Javascript met Green Mountain's internal development guidelines before helping to load each into their CMS, Sitecore.

My role in this refresh/redesign of Green Mountian Coffee’s storefront was mainly to make visual and organizational improvements to what had already been wireframed by their internal web team, as well as to create a standard set of UI elements and to translate across several smaller sites for brands who sell K-cup versions of their coffee.
We worked closely with GMCR developers to make sure what was being designed could be produced with minimal impact to overall page load, and would work within their development guidelines.

My role in this side project for a co-worker at P+N was to build what a fellow IAD had designed and make recommendations on small design changes, new hosting options, and CMS options. The initial plan was to use WordPress to manage all pages and blog entries, but that was later scaled back to me making manual updates to pages and using WP for just the blog.

Back in 2010 FINS.com, part of the Wall Street Journal Digital Network, launched version 2 of it's website. My role in the relaunch was to design several top-level pages—including the homepage—and then build the front-end of each. The two stages of the project involved first working with another freelancer in New York to keep the UI consistent, then working with the base CSS that FINS internal developers had already begun.
In addition to this project, I've done numerous HTML email projects and several print ads that ran in the Journal.

To help Lufthansa increase flight bookings among U.S. businesspersons traveling to Europe, we developed a campaign promoting the airline's new Full Flat Seat. The campaign featured a number of print ads with QR codes that drove users to a mobile site where they could watch a short video of the seat and it's many features. The responsive site was also built with variable content depending on which ad the user saw, and asked for the user's location for deeper tracking and analytics.

My role in this mobile project was to design the UX and UI, and build the front-end of a mobile version of an ink calculator tool that had been originally created in Flash by another agency. After testing a few mobile framework options, including iUI and SenchaTouch, we decided on jQuery Moblie framework with all calculations being performed as separate javascript.

A site celebrating the 50th anniversary season of the Buffalo Bills where fans could come and relive and vote on the greatest moments in the team's history, take quizzes, submit tailgating recipes, and swap their face with a Bills great. Spokes & Ink is a festival celebrating bike lovers and bike-inspired poster art. Posters hung around Rochester invite local artists to learn more about the festival by scanning a QR code. My role in this project was to build a responsive site that could be viewed on desktop and mobile, and only needed to be updated once by an in-house webmaster.
